While Topical Minoxidil and Oral Finasteride are the approved FDA medications for anti hair loss, not all is suitable for topical minoxidil and oral finasteride. Oral finasteride can only be taken by men and is not suitable for ladies. As for topical minoxidil, studies suggest it helps only 30 % - 40% of users. At present, the only way to determine if minoxidil will help is to try it out. And that phase of "trying it" phase needs to last about 6 months in order to determine if minoxidil will help or not. In order for Minoxidil to work well, there must be sufficient sulfotransferase enzyme activity in the hair follicles to convert minoxidil into minoxidil sulfate. As you use Topical Minoxidil over a long period of time, there is diminishing returns and you will find that Minoxidil on your third year may not work as well as when you use Minoxidil on your first and second year. So, not everyone will respond well to Minoxidil. If Minoxidil does not work well for you, Redensyl may be a good alternative to Minoxidil.
That's not advisable because, as mentioned above, stopping Minoxidil can restart hair loss. However, if your hair fall hasn't responded to Minoxidil even after 3-6 months of continuous usage, you may be resistant to Minoxidil and perhaps you can taper Minoxidil and gradually switch to Redensyl.
As mentioned earlier, Redensyl and Minoxidil both promote hair growth but by different mechanisms. Redensyl targets the hair follicle stem cells, whereas Minoxidil targets the blood vessels to increase the blood flow to hair follicles. Since these are two distinctly different mechanisms, using the two of them together should have a higher likelihood of treating the root cause of the hair fall. Therefore, the overall effectiveness should, in general, increase, if both Minoxidil and Redensyl are used together.
There are multiple approaches to using Redensyl and Minoxidil together:
Layering: First, apply Minoxidil. After 15 minutes, apply Redensyl.
Applying Minoxidil in the morning and Redensyl in the evening or vice-versa. This will be a better way than layering as Minoxidl and Redensyl are two different products, and their interaction is not well studied.
Alternate every day between Minoxidil and Redensyl.
Yes, you can definitely combine light therapy with minoxidil and even redensyl. Research has shown that combining minoxidil with low-light therapy can enhance its effectiveness for quicker hair growth. The correct method is apply the serum on the scalp first, then place the LED/Laser device while the serum penetrates the scalp for absorption.
Dr. Alpana Mohta Ranka has written a very good blog comparing Redensyl vs Minoxidil. Feel free to read her blog over here for more detailed comparison of Redensyl vs Minoxidil. Special thanks to her for mentioning our REGENSIFY Redensifying Hair Regrowth serum in her blog.

Adenosine & Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) work through complementary pathways that enhance hair follicle function & prolong the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle. Let's find out why Adenosine + Coenzyme Q10 is a better combo than Adenosine + Caffeine.
Redensyl targets hair follicle stem cells. Minoxidil targets blood vessels to increase blood flow to hair follicles. REGENSIFY Redensifying Hair Regrowth serum.
